Chongqing is a very big city in southwest China.<\/p>\n<p>In this village most residents make a living by growing vegetables and rice.<\/p>\n<p>More and more people have been going to the city to work. This allows the rest of the fruit to grow better.<\/p>\n<p>Farmers keep the biggest apples.<\/p>\n<p>After June, the apples are almost as big as \u201cTimbits\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A special paper bag is put on each apple. These bags protect the apples from the birds. This is the busiest time of the year for the farmers.<\/p>\n<p>Bags stay on the fruit until October 1st. During this period, farmers only need to water the apple trees<\/p>\n<p>When the fruit are the right size, farmers remove the paper bags. However, the apples are white like milk, not red, because they have been shielded from the sun.<\/p>\n<p>Farmers remove any leaves that are blocking out the sun.<\/p>\n<p>After October 20th, the apples are mature.
